LPRGC has recently completed a new 100 yard rifle range featuring 5 bench shoting positions. In order to preserve the backstop, we ask shooters to fill in the firing line starting from the benches on the right-hand side of the range. Shotguns may also be shot into the two right positions which impact into the bunker.

Range Rules

  • Eye and ear protection must be worn while shooting is in progress
  • Chamber flags are required for all rifles and shotguns. Chamber flags can be purchased for $1 in the vending machine in the clubhouse.
  • All rifles must be cased when not on the firing line
  • Firearms must be uncased and cased at the bench
  • All rifles must be fired from the benches at the 100 yard firing line
  • No handling of firearms when people are down range
  • No handling of firearms behind the firing line
  • Do not shoot the concrete or steel that supports the backstop
  • Position targets high enough that the bullet lands in the dirt of the backstop, not the gravel.

    Range Priority

Range Priority is to be given to Pistol shooters on even numbered days and Rifle on odd numbered days. Shooters must finish shooting and yield use of the range within 15 minutes of a request to use the range.

    Target Stands

Target stands have been provided at 25, 50, and 100 yard distances. Members
